PAINTED ELLA'S BIG GIRL ROOM
How much fun is her room! I decided to do fun bright colors &
then found the cutest fabric & that's how I came up with the flowers.
Where's the fabric? It's supposed to be a quilt which I have yet to finish. {NEVER let me do a quilt again!}
Anyway, Ella LOVES her room, so that means it was a success!
YAY!! I love her room too
{what girl wouldn't love those huge flowers & such fun colors?
PAINTED OUR FRIDGE WITH CHALKBOARD PAINT
After the paint, before we could draw on it. We had to wait 2 DAYS! Talk about torture! |
I was SO nervous about painting the fridge! I hated it, but it worked just fine. It just needed a face lift.
SO... me being me I decided to PAINT IT! What!? Who does that?! That's what I heard from everyone. Including Dave, it took some convincing,
but I finally got him to let me do it.
Of course if it didn't work I was stuck since we couldn't afford another one.
Now I LOVE it!
So does Ella, I mean what 2 year old girl wouldn't love a fridge they CAN draw on & NOT get in trouble?! And all those people that thought I was crazy, I know you are all jealous of my awesome fridge! :)
REDID THE NURSERY FOR COLTEN
{I know I already had a nursery for Ella, but Colten's room couldn't have a PINK wall
& it was another chance to redo something}
I decided to hang paper lanterns instead of a mobile, another time that Dave thought I was crazy but, turns out I know what I'm talking about {most of the time} |
For some reason I have fallen in love with Monkeys!
I wanted them in Ella's nursery but, I did hers before she was born & we didn't find out if we were having a boy or a girl
& most of the monkey stuff is for boys.
So I finally got to do my monkey nursery & I think it's just ADORABLE!!
Ella just adores her new baby brother! |
Anyway, that was a few of my projects from last year, I had fun doing them & I hope you enjoyed seeing them! Come back & watch for my projects I have planned for this year!
